Nail Aid's Ultra Rapid Growth

**** Be sure to enter my Favorite Things Birthday Give Away by clicking: HERE!

Huh! So, I had to remove the nail polish that I was wearing yesterday to apply the Nail Aid Ultra Rapid Growth to test, and since the directions say that you can apply one coat followed by color.... OF COURSE I had to do another Konadacure!!! And since I won't be wearing this longer than 3 days (also per directions), I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween theme.... you all KNOW how much I ADORE Halloween (in April???)!!! And these are super fun. So here's how:

1 basecoat of Nail Aid's New Ultra Rapid Growth (available at your local Walmart VERY soon)
2 coats of Orly's Mirror Mirror
Konad for the web is found on IP S6 and done with Konad's White Special Polish
Konad for the spider is found on IP M1 and done with Konad's Black Special Polish
1 topcoat of Nail Aid's New Ultra Rapid Growth

This is the FIRST time that I've ever used this product. So far I LOVE it. Now I'm trying it to really measure the actual growth since the box says "Longer nails in just 5 days" so we'll have to see about that. Today's day one, but I CAN say that the base coat was AWESOME!!! I put it on and gave it a couple of minutes to dry. When I felt the basecoat, it felt like there was rubber on my nail. The box also says, "Fills in ridges for smoother nails" and I can see why. Depending on how this wears, this MIGHT be my new base coat. I don't have ridges to fill, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how durable this basecoat felt. And knowing that Orly has a tendency to be thicker than most polishes (which makes for a frustrating application sometimes), the polish went on super smoothly. Now as a topcoat, it has pretty good shine for a nail treatment polish... I was surprised. And it wasn't too terrible brushing over the Konad Special Polish. Topcoats sometimes make the Konad Special Polish smear... which DID happen with this one but I was lucky that it occurred on the hand that doesn't get photographed. I can see that there wouldn't be ANY issue as a topcoat over regular nail polish. The topcoat dried to the same wonderful "rubbery" texture as the basecoat. This polish just seems REALLY substantial... I guess that's the best word I can use to describe it. It goes on the same consistency as any polish really, but dries feeling slightly thicker. I'm really excited to see what my nails look like in 5 days. Monday I'll post again and we can ALL see the progress on day 3 and then I'll follow up with my final review on day 5.

Thank you to Nail Aid for giving me the Ultra Rapid Growth and the Maximum Iron Hardener to try, and thanks for sending the extras to give to my blog winner. I don't know when they are slated to hit the Walmart shelves (I didn't see it there yesterday), but I'll let you all know as soon as I do. If this is anything like all the other Nail Aid products I've tried, I'm sure that I will LOVE the results in 5 days!

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. It's been a long time favorite and now I'm THRILLED to be able to give it away to one of my awesome readers! So here's how to win: Become one of my follower
