Yesterday was my final day for the Nail Aid's Ultra Rapid Growth nail treatment that is available at Walmart (STILL NOT AT MINE THOUGH... UGH)! Yep... this one gets many, many high fives!!! This product not only worked as a nail treatment, I will continue to use this product as a base coat. You guys can judge for yourselves as far as the growth goes. Below are the day 0 and day 5 pics.... but that "rubbery" base layer is the "GETCHA" for me! I haven't used anything like this product. My nails feel stronger and the polish goes on sooooo smoothly. As far as using this product as a topcoat... well, if I'm trying to grow my nails out quickly, then ABSOLUTELY I will use it as a topcoat as the directions tell you to do. I couldn't master the top coat application so that I didn't get ANY bubbles though, so as soon as I get my desired length (which for me is NOW) I will be switching back to my beloved Seche Vite (which I did today). The pic at the top shows this mornings mani using Ultra Radip Growth as a base, 2 coats of OPI's Suzie Says Feng Shui (which I bought solely for its name) and 1 coat of Seche Vite. I stamped the cute little sea horse from Konad image plate M27 using Konad's special polish in white and then topped that with another coat of Seche Vite. They are crystal clear with no bubbles... well, other than the bubbles that appear with my little sea horsey! :)
Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity! It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!. I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time. So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday! I can't stop/won't stop! LOL! To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste! A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase. PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash. Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...
