Freebie Friday Cherish The Season

Okay.... we're still a-go with the Christmas gifting preparation!!!  Today I'm featuring a pillow box made using the Celebration Labels dies as well as a really nice sized gift box and a pretty good sized gift bag all featuring the Cherish the Season bundle from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.  As always, I've included a link to the FREE PDF download below the last picture so that you can get your hands on the product list along with measurements! And if you place an order in my online store using hostess code SHP69V34 by midnight on 11/6, I'll send you all three of these make n' take kits for free.... here's the link to my store:  https://daniellejohnson.stampinup.net .  Here are this week's featured projects... As I said, this box is SUCH a nice size.  And because it uses the graphics from the Wonder of the Season DSP, it makes this box a snap.  This would have been SO COOL using one of the red foiled sheets with the recipes for the base of the box.  Havi

Freebie Friday Warm Hugs

WOW you guys.... I don't typically jump on the Christmas prep wagon so soon, but this pandemic and new-found Stampin Up adventure has me wanting to make this Christmas holiday extra special!  We NEED that, right?!?  So this week I'm featuring more Christmas prep goodness with two cards and an easy gift box featuring Stampin Up's limited edition holiday bundle:  Warm Hugs.  To be quite honest I purchased the WHOLE SHBANG.... the entire suite of products that includes DSP, dies, TWO stamp sets, embossing folders, paper cups with holders, ribbon, embellishments... you get my point.... A LOT!  Now, if you're making a crazy amount of cards and gifts for Christmas, this suite is SOOOO worth the investment, but today we're just featuring the bundle in the suite:  Warm Hugs Bundle.  As always, the link to the free PDF with all the products used and measurements will be posted below the last pic in this post.... check it out.  Remember, any order in my online store using Ho

Freebie Friday: Festive Post

Okay... so first off.... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who puts up with all of my technical difficulties.  Techie I am not, but I DO love crafting and I love sharing and so here I am doing the thing and learning.  The funny thing is, I JUST ran across an old video I made back in 2012 that I did with an old-school camera and uploaded to YouTube.  I'll be sharing here sometime in the coming weeks... you guys are going to LOVE the "revamp".... STAY TUNED!!!  LOL!   But this week we are all about holiday preparations... specifically Halloween!!!  You KNOW I loves me some Halloween!!!!  Remember, the free download link will be posted under the last pic in this post AAAAANNNNDDDDD if you spend $35 in my online store using hostess code  7FHHJEE2 before midnight on 10/16/20, I'll send you EACH of the make n' take kits from this week's Freebie Friday Facebook Life post!  YAYAYAYAYAY! National Card Making Day!

WOWOWOW... so this week I've got a twofer.  Mainly because I thought YESTERDAY was 10/3/20... you know.... NATIONAL CARD MAKING DAY!!!!  Welp, I added a little bonus for the REAL project I completed on this holy day and it is definitely a special card, so stay tuned to the end.   Remember... everyone who places an order in my online story by 10/9/20 at midnight will receive ALL of the featured project kits FREE with a minimum $35.00 order.  Be sure you use the hostess code  AQZYXVET  in order to receive the projects kits.  :) Okay, with that out of the way, I devote yesterday PRE- National Card Making Day to getting a jump start on my Christmas cards.  How many do you guys send every year? Up first is probably the easiest of all the projects.  Be sure to cut out that intricate Ornate Layer die using the folded dryer sheet to make it oh-so-easy!  Remember, I have a link to the PDF with measurements and product lists below the last pic in this post.... Another easy one and the paper

Arrange a Wreath Freebie Friday Fun

Okay... so last week during Freebie Friday we featured some really fun cards.  OF COURSE I slipped in a little Autumn "thankful" card.... (the link to the free PDF download is under the last pic) One of the leaves and the acorn were LITERALLY punched right from one of the Gilded Autumn designer series paper pages.... the images punch out perfectly.  That made this project soooooo easy to complete!  And I think it's got quite a wow-factor for how simple it was. Now the NEXT project was a Christmas card using this oh-so-versatile Arrange A Wreath Bundle: Again... I kept it simple so for anyone getting started on their holiday card making, they can bust out 100 or so rather easily but with a seriously stunning design!  BUT THEN.... We made this super pretty Magnetic Wreaths using a 3" circle base and then attaching a square from a magnet sheet to the back making this a refrigerator magnet.  WELLLLLLL.... This girl just combined the two to make a SO-VERY-AWESOME gift/ca

Tic Tacs Make The Perfect Gift

I'll be honest.... I'm not a huge Coca Cola fan, but I AM a huge fan of the limited edition Coca Cola Tic Tacs!!!!  You guys saw my box from last week's feature of Stampin Up's Celebration Tidings Bundle and the SUPER CUTE and easy box.... it fit's the 3.4 oz. Tic Tac jars PERFECTLY!!!  Welp... here's another variation using Stampin Up's jar punch and jar dome!  Psssst.... the "fizz" in the jar was created using the texture stamp from the Gather Together stamp set, the letters spelling "Coke" were inked on a scrap piece of whisper white that was backed with adhesive sheet and then the letters from the Playful Alphabet die set were cut out.... I topped the letters with a coat of Wink of Stella for a sparkle effect (not sure if that translates in my pics below but looks AWESOME in person).  The sequins in the jar shaker dome are currently in the clearance section and are from the retired Peaceful Poppies line... get them while you can, I&#

TOTALLY CASED

This week's Freebie Friday is TOTALLY copied from other Stampin Up demonstrators that were featuring their work on Pinterest.  It started with my very own Stampin Up upline totally copying  casing (case= Copy And Share Everything) these projects AND THEN my Stampin Up downline copied.  Okay.... I CANNOT be outdone!  My turn to case.... well, and then my Facebook live featured some original spins... so there's that!  As always, you'll find the free PDF below the last pic in this post and anyone who places an order in my online store of $35 or more by 9/25/20 at Midnight will receive all three make n' take kits for FREE from me if you use hostess code: GNGNCTAU Shop at https://daniellejohnson.stampinup.net   Here's the breakdown:  This box is probably my favorite of all the projects.  It BRILLIANTLY uses the largest label die from the Celebration Tiding bundle to make the lid on this box.  And the box itself, is an amazing size! LOVE this box! The treat topper is ele

Gather Together The Sequal: A Study of Masking

Okay... you all know by now how much Fall is my jam... and Stampin Up's Gather Together Bundle just speaks to my soul.  The leaves are PERFECTION!  Welp, this Freebie Friday features that perfection with some really fun masking techniques!  The first two are the easiest and use the exact same Drybrush backgrounds stamp.  The card on the left is the first generation stamp of Drybrush in Crushed Curry and the card on the right is the second generation of the same stamp.  Then I die cut the leaves on two sticky notes using both die cut sticky note leaves to mask on the card on the left and then the negative sticky note space to mask the leaf of the card on the right.  Then using the sponge brayer I sponged Merry Merlot (with Night of Navy on the outer edges: optional) on the card on the left and sponged early espresso on the card on the right.  Because the card on the left was first generation of the Drybrush background stamp, the image showed through creating the most pleasing strea

Thanks again to everyone who joined me for Facebook Friday day!   This set you guys!  I.LOVE.IT.  Anyone who knows me knows I'm a freak for coffee and this set speaks to me on so many levels.... who couldn't use a little encouragement right now to "Press On"???  This week's Freebie Friday is ALL ABOUT IT!!!!     Remember, the project dimensions and supply list can be found in the free PDF.... I'm sorry, but I just have to say I'm a genius!!!!  LOL!  And isn't it always fun to color?  On the "Open

And Here Lies The Problem With Stampin Up

So I get THE perfect baby gift and I run to the wrapping isle of my local Target to grab the perfect "baby boy" wrapping paper just SURE I've got the perfect matching ink to make the accompanying gift and sure enough.... TEMPTING TURQUOISE!!!    The RETIRED Temping Turquoise!!!!  Stampin Up.... you and your amazing colors!  Dang you!!!  Your amazingly bold and incredibly opaque colors!  WHY do you vex me with retiring so many colors that are absolute staples????  If anyone else is a collector out there in blogland.... what Stampin Up ink color are you SO incredibly glad you hoarded??? I'm thinkin I might need to track down a refill for my Tempting Turquoise.  It really IS the perfect color for baby-shower-gifting.

It's Almost Here.... Can Fall Just Get Here Already???

I need sweater weather STAT!!!  But until that comes, I'm gonna just keep playing with my Fall-themed crafty goodness.  This week, along with a Gather Together honorable mention... I'm featuring  Stampin Up's Beautiful Autumn.  This bundle (stamps and punches) coupled with the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper.... can I just say.... hand me my Pumpkin Spice Latte!  So here we go.  The PDF with the supply lists and measurements is below the last pic. Bonus.... in today's Freebie Friday live feed, we made this into the most perfect belly band for the new Rectangle Tins in the 2020 Holiday Mini. This picture does not do this card justice!  All the foiling makes this card down right shine! Okay... so I accidentally cut off the needed tabs during the live feed.... HAHAHAHA!  The directions were fixed in the attached PDF so we're safe!  Hopefully everyone appreciated my "troubleshooting" segment.  It was totally planned BTW.... on purpose on accident!  HAHAHA

Nothing's Better Than... A Timely Upload

Okay you guys... HOW did I forget to upload last week's Freebie Friday PDF???  Yes, I'm a new Stampin Up distributor... but I want to believe that my following is so great folks would be ringing me non-stop the minute my "all-important" PDF post didn't post!  HAHAHAHAHA!  Welp... not a peep from anyone.  I figured it out just a few minutes ago while preparing THIS WEEK'S Freebie Friday upload.... Gather Together Y'all!

Today's Freebie Friday was a great one.  Not only did I massacre the perfect parcel box (we got it in the end... hahahahaha) which was hysterically fun, but I also got to teach my little template trick for the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.... getting it right every time!  😉 As always, this week's hostess code is QUUJASBY.  Use that code this week and all qualifying order of $35 or more will receive all three of the make n' take kits featured this week for free.  I'm also giving away a Wrapped in Christmas stamp set next week from the brand new Holiday Mini Catalog... so be sure to run over to our facebook group and share the video for a chance to win.  Not only will it be absurdly entertaining to watch me fumble with the perfect parcel box, but I shared quite a few tips that should make your crafting more fun!   One last thing... there is one week left to register for the Hallow's Night Magic Class.  There are 4 payment options, so if you're needing to still sig
