It's All About The Digis

Well, yesterday's project was for a Mother's Day card for my mother... today's project is for a Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law! As you can see, I used the EXACT same materials for this card as I did for yesterdays card. It's nice to use up those scraps. Although I REALLY need to buy new ribbon. What I've got left is lookin very shabby!!! Anyhow, I used the same stuff from yesterday and a new digi stamp (also known as a digital stamp) from Squigglefly.com. What an AWESOME digi stamp site!!! I must have bought half a dozen stamps today; I'm so loving the digi! There's nothing like the immediate gratification of buying then using the stamp right away. And being able to size it to whatever project I'm working on... IT'S GOLD!!! Whether I need a 3" x 3" image, or a 6" x 6" image, I can size to fit with ANY digi stamp. You just can't get that with the beloved rubber or clear stamps. That kind of versatility can't be beat. And I know I've said this before, but the storage for digi stamps ROCKS!!! They take up NO physical space and I just keep an external file with all of them stored there, so if anything ever happens with my computer, I will always have access to my wonderful digi's! :)

Adorable card! I love that digi image, and I feel the same way about them. I just keep collecting more and more. Now if I just had more time to actually print and color some of them! LOL! Anyway, I love your card!

Past 7 Days....

Seriously Crazy!

Oh man! Look at the fridge in my garage. And that's only about half of it!!! The rest of my Bountiful Basket is in the fridge in my kitchen. Crazy! I'm here to tell you about my very first experience with Bountiful Baskets . I was told that Bountiful Baskets was a great way to save money on quality produce, so I thought I'd give it a try and see; and you can tell by the pic, that was today! Well, my fridge is PACKED! And every bit of it is organic. Look at how nice all of that produce looks. It's beautiful. After signing up on the website (click link above), I started reading that you can volunteer at the pick up site and help distribute; for your work, you can get extra produce. That was a nice bonus, but today I volunteered with the nicest people and to be honest I had so much fun, I would have done that for free. Needless to say (but I will say it anyway) I will be doing this again in 2 weeks. So here's the lowdown. For $25 dollars, I got what you see in the pic ...

Curse You 21 Jumpstreet and Heed My Warnings

Ok, so I rented it and I loved it!!!  I hate that I loved it!  And I hate myself even more that I'm running out to buy it!  But watching this HILARIOUS movie remake reminds me of all the broken dreams and unanswered questions I was left with as a teenage girl while I manipulated and maneuvered my black and white TV antennae unavailingly to give me a clear picture of the hit Fox TV show. Back in 1987, Fox was a new station and did not come through very clearly on that trusty black and white and most nights it was as if my beloved Penhall was communicating to me from the other side through all that white noise.  Yes, I was in love with Officer Doug James Penhall and that teenage ritual would literally foreshadow the pain and heartbreak I would endure watching the end of 21 Jump Street the movie... and I'm STILL compelled to buy it.  If you haven't seen the movie yet, this post might come as a shock and should definitely be considered a spoiler for anyone readin...
