Stampin Up's 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog release is in 4 DAYS!!!!  YEEEEE!  Today's Freebie Friday on Facebook featured one of my favorite sets from the new catalog.... Life is Beautiful.  I love the sentiment, I love the autumn theme, I just love everything about this set!  The free PDF is available in the download below the last pic.... I am absolutely over the moon in love with this card.  I love how easy it is to make and honestly... just looking at it makes me feel calm and relaxed like I'm about to put on my favorite comfy sweater.  I know... we aren't quite there yet!  LOL! What can I say... Coffee IS Life! Another simple set featuring one of the new "In Colors"... Just Jade.  Very vibrant green and this card is perfect for guy or gal!  And I can't seem to get enough of that Designer Series Paper! And I can't forget the bonus card..... EVERYTHING is done but the stamping on this one.  But snag it quick.... that card pack with envelopes is in the c

Christmas In July.... The Last Day of July!

So I'm late to the party!  Stampin Up's Holiday early ordering for demonstators was about a month ago and I've been sitting on the most amazing Christmas products I've seen in a long time.... so why so late to the Christmas in July party.... well, as I shared yesterday, they also are coming out with the most amazing Halloween Suite I've seen in a long time as well.  Truly, I am over the moon for this upcoming holiday mini catalog release on August 4th.... I can't wait for you guys to see!  So even though it's the last day of July, I thought, "well why not?"  It also helped that a friend of mine asked for a quick tutorial for flat gift packets and you KNOW I had to oblige!   All the projects in today's post feature the Snowflake Wishes Bundle that is being released next week.  I also whipped up the quickest of treat boxes.... wait till you all see the projects they made in the catalog using the new Little Treats Bundle!  From wedding favors to g

Hallows Night Magic Class To Go Registration Is NOW OPEN!

Okay everyone.... registration is now open for the Hallows Night Magic Class to Go!  Registration closes 8/14/20 at 11:59 PM as I will need to order everyone's stuff and then prep everything.... expecting shipping date for class materials will be 8/21/20 and then I'm planning the video feed on 8/28/20... WHEW!  This one's gonna be good.  Here are a couple of the projects that will be featured.... we're ALL about the Halloween goodies!  The link for registration is down below the last pic.... A total of 6 projects for this awesome class... two of the projects are not Halloween-specific, the rest of them are.  We'll be doing a candy dispenser box, a small treat box, a large treat box and a door-hang treat box.  Along with the super-fun goody boxes, there is one Halloween card and one GORGEOUS, not-so-Halloween card (my mind's eye sees it as a wedding card).  Below are a couple of my favorites for this class..... Here's the link to register for the class:  CLI

Timeless Tropic Freebie Friday

Oh yes.... Timeless Tropical is the PERFECT set for summer!  Last Friday's Freebie Friday featured three projects using the Timeless Tropical stamp set, In The Tropics dies and the tote pieces from the All Dressed Up Die Set!  Seriously, SO perfect!!!  The PDF for this week's Freebie Friday is posted below the last pic.   The pineapple box we made was inspired by a project created by Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs and is just the right size to hold some small sweet treats or a travel-sized Bath and Bodyworks hand sanitizer.  It really is a wonderful way to say "Thank you"! I also feature my super-simple but super stunning "Relax" card.  This little score trick is the perfect embellishment for so many applications.  I like this technique when trying to pop a focal point or even just creating drama for say, a wedding card.  This one is REALLY good! Lastly... this tote from the All Dressed Up dies was SCREAMING to be matched up with the In The Tropics D

Jar of Flowers Flop... But REDO Comin Your Way

Oh we're doing this!!!  SO excited for my first Stampin Up Make n' Take.  I've been a customer for many years but after the year we've all had, I decided it was time to take the plunge and do the things I love.... and I LOVE paper crafting (as some of you already know).  Welp, I had the opportunity so we're giving it a shot... and here I am with my first ever Stampin Up Make n' Take!  UPDATE:  The class ended earlier this afternoon after my phone that was recording DIED!!!  I am in the process of getting a replacement, but unfortunately EVERYONE who was in attendance were dropped.... I'M SO SORRY!!!  So the goal is to go live every Friday at 1 p.m. MST in my FunAndMentalChanges: Danielle's Inky Chaos   facebook group and share 3 fun and easy projects, but I will need to dial in the equipment piece.  Thank you for those who did attend today.  I promise, we will have a "redo" next Friday.  My goal is to get my own creative juices flowing and for

Nothing Goes To Waste!

Just popping in for a quick share.... never throw out your "practice" projects.  You never know when they will come in handy!  This is a box attempt that is now turned into a gift package.  LOVE how handy the Stampin Up So Sentimental Bundle (#153828) works in a pinch!  A couple of honorable mentions.... the tissue paper came from last month's paper pumpkin kit and the embellishments are a sneak peek from the upcoming August 4th holiday release..... YEEEEEE!!!! And can I just say how much I love that Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper????   Have a great one you guys!  Hope to see everyone in the FunAndMentalChanges facebook group for my first-every facebook class.  Should be "entertaining"... LOL! Here's the link to my online store:   https://daniellejohnson.stampinup.net

There's a Life Lesson There

Getting Into my groove and playing with paper.  No sooner did I dive my hands into my paper stack, I felt the slice on the cuticle of my pointer finger and the sting of a deep, fresh paper cut.  You KNOW you love something deeply when you accept the pain that comes with the loving.... I feel like there's a life lesson there!  And I DO love paper crafting, well, MOST of the time.... as I'm sitting here at this very moment looking at more than a dozen varying box creation attempts for a tutorial I'm trying to put together this month. I feel like this is going to be a terrific class and I'm wanting to do it for free, but I also want it to be easy with a major "WOW" factor.     Luckily my 13th attempt was PERFECTION!  And I'm soooo looking forward to sharing the fun this upcoming Friday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. MST on Facebook.  I mean... it is REALLY easy once I got my cuts right!  LOL!  I'm also going to be announcing my very first Stampin Up Class To Go
