Blurred! hahahaha! That's only because I cropped and then blew it up, but I did this for a purpose. What does it mean, "the eyes are a window to the soul?" Can someone please tell me where that came from?

I am looking and looking and cannot see anything but an eyeball... hahahaha. Maybe I'll see something if I'm looking into both eyes? Maybe that's it; you need to see both!

Fire Proof

I don't know what it is about this movie, but I can't get enough of it. Since it's release on DVD, I've watched Fire Proof at least a dozen times! My heart swells thinking about what has been given to me versus where I came from. The following is a blog post that I wrote last year after first watching the movie and it kind of just sat as an unfinished draft. But here it is, the middle of the night and I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the opportunities that I have and the blessings that I've received. So, with that being said, here's my post on Fire Proof.... better late than never. I am also adding a special note at the end... an excerpt from a note that I wrote for a friend (in case anyone here can use it.. LOL). I was married, then divorced, at a very young age. Like Michael in the movie, I didn't know any better and did the best I could in a situation that was not working out. I did everything I could to make that marriage work...

Giving It Another Go

A few years back I joined my local Curves and jumped on the Curves Complete bandwagon with HUGE success. Since then I moved to an area that doesn't have a Curves, my husband was forced to retire from his job, I started a new job and life has been FULL of fun and mental changes (some not-so-fun). How do I respond to a whirlwind of changes that gives me whiplash? I stuff my face and DON'T do what I know I need to do to stay healthy and reach my goals. Welp today I'm giving it another go. I may not have a Curves near me, but I AM still part of the Curves online community and I have access to some pretty great resources and included in those resources is a meal planner complete with recipes and even an "on the go" menu that I lived on today until dinner.
