Velcome To The Little Hop of HORRORS!!!

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So I tried to make the title sound really spooky and ran out of room to include my evil laugh... hahaha! WELCOME HOPPERS! Are you thoroughly spooked and amazed? I know I am! You already know that today is the start of our Halloween celebration with a blog hop organized by my good friend Nicole of Canadian Nickel Scrap'n. If you're currently hopping, you should be arriving here from the Fabulous Eulanda's blog... wasn't that Caramel Corn Box AWESOME?!? If you haven't arrived from Eulanda's blog and are just now joining us, hop to the bottom of this post for details on how the blog hop works.

And now for my scary good fun before you head over to Gloria's blog on the next stop of this hop. Today I've got the "Welcome" sign that I will be hanging in my foyer this Halloween. I used my Simple Frame Gypsy cut file as well as the pumpkins and faces from the Pumpkin Carvings Seasonal Cricut Cartridge (just like the one I will be giving away... see below). I inserted a piece of acetate into the frame that I dabbed with slate alcohol ink mixed with blending fluid and stamped with a web and a spider using Staz On. The "Welcome" message was done using the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge. Because I used my Gypsy for this project, OF COURSE, I have Gypsy cut files for you!!! Click HERE for the Simple Frame (I adjusted the simple frame to fit this project. The cut file is a much smaller version) and HERE for the Pumpkin Faces.

Isn't this soooo neat?!? The alcohol ink makes the acetate look like marble and gives the overall project an aged and "weathered" look. I LOVE how this turned out!

Prizes Up For Grabs

  • Simply Betty Stamps - Set of 5 Halloween Digi’s
  • Tickled Pink Stamps - Halloween Digi’s
  • Tiddly Inks - $10 Gift Voucher
  • Scrappy Moms Stamps - Haunting we will Go stamp set
  • My Pink Stamper - Stamp Set
  • The Greeting Farm - 2 Halloween Digis
  • Scrap Hut - October 31st Cricut Cartridge (North America Only)
  • Winners for the prizes above will be drawn after the hop.
  • And I'm giving away the Pumpkin Carvings Cricut Cartridge to someone who leaves a comment here on this post.... don't you just love blog candy? :) I will pick a random winner using random.org on Monday and post the winner here on my blog. Good luck everyone!!!

How The Hop Works to Win Those Prizes:

The hop begins over at Barbs awesome blog and ends with Nicole. So if you're just now joining us, you will want to head over to Barb's blog to start the hop fun from the beginning (click on the highlighted "Barb"). Each blog will direct you to the next in the order of the hop. Be sure to leave a comment at each blog along the way because some lucky hoppers are going to win the very cool prizes listed above and you can't win if you don't leave comments. You will see the most incredible projects, learn some really cool stuff and I'll see you again on your way through. Enjoy the hop! :)

I hope you all enjoyed my project for The Little Hop Of Horrors. You should now be on your way to Gloria's blog for the next freightfully delightful project on our blog hop. Have a fang-tastic time and thanx for stopping by! :)

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Blog Hop

YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!  IT'S HERE!!!  Breaking Dawn pt. 2 opens today and we're kicking the fun off with a Twilight Breaking Dawn Blog Hop!!!!  You should be arriving from Kelli's blog.  Isn't her tag AWESOME!?!?!   If you're just now joining the hop, you WILL want to start the hop at the beginning... trust me, you don't want to miss anything from this group of talented ladies.  Here's the whole hop list: Alison Laura Rebecca Kelli ME<== You Are HERE!!! Sugar Stephanie And now for MY project.... BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY BLOG CANDY AT THE END!!! Here's my Twilighty keepsake box!!!  I had an absolute BLAST making this box and will be using it to hold all my pictures from Forks and La Push as well as pics from the various premiere parties I've attended/hosted over the years. This originally started out as a faux book box.  I painted the spine black using acrylic paint and covered the rest using paper from the DCWV Immortal Love

The BEST Copic Storage

**** HUGE HALLOWEEN GIVE AWAY... CLICK HERE !!!!**** Ok, so I've done posts in the past about various Copic storage solutions, but I was given THE MOTHER of all storage ideas by my friends Jennie Black and Krista Koenig!!!   Let me share with you the construction of the storage box and then I'll finish this off with the BRILLIANT solution my husband came up with.... cuz I married a GENIUS!!! What you'll need to create the AWESOME storage box pictured here is: 1 Double Deep Art Bin 1 plastic grid for ceiling lighting (found at your local home improvement store) 1 half inch thick wooden square dowel (also found at your local home improvement store) Dimensional adhesive squares Wire cutters or sheers Screws with corresponding drill bit Drill So I first cut the ceiling grid down to 19 squares by 19 squares using my wire cutters.   You will need two 19 x 19 sections of grid material.   The wire cutters went through the plastic material of the grid like butter and I

Twilighty Goodness Coming!!!

Alright you guys.... I PROMISE.... Twilighty blog candy IS coming!!!!  I've just been so bombarded the past few weeks organizing my craft room (and, ok, distracted is also a good word.  I've been going to the movies A LOT and have seen Breaking Dawn like four times which is a little creepy-excessive even for me) and getting ready for the upcoming events that I'm planning for the new year that I just haven't quite put together the Twilight goodies that I'll be giving away.  But I will put it together and get it posted very soon.  I think I might run this blog candy give away through January as sort of a New Years treat.... hmmmm.  Ok, so that's it.  This was a quick post, I know, but writing this post made me want to pop over to the Harkins website and view Breaking Dawn show times for tomorrow.  Uh, I might need a little professional intervention here.  LOL!  Swing back by tomorrow... I'm posting a little "dilly" on my new Kindle Fire (spoiler:  it
