Another Work In Progress

Ok... this little guy ROCKS MY SOCKS!!! I discovered him while hopping in the Little Hop of Horrors put on by Canadian Nickel Scrap'n when Gloria of Creepy Glowbugg showcased this little guy for her project. OF COURSE I had to have him and OF COURSE I had to scrap-jack her idea. When coloring with Copic markers.... don't be afraid to copy someone else's coloring. It is a great way to discover how highlights and lowlights get created on a project. And THIS particular image was expertly drawn by the artist to include all the shadows.... so the hard work was done! All I had to do was color the dark areas dark and the light areas light. I LOVE IT WHEN IT'S EASY!!! :) To get your hands on this little gem, Marvin The Bat, CLICK HERE. He arrived to me in a digi file (three different images).... and you all know how much I'm diggin the digis!!!

Have a great one gang..... 11 days till Halloween!!! YEEEE!

Velcome To The Little Hop of HORRORS!!!

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So I tried to make the title sound really spooky and ran out of room to include my evil laugh... hahaha! WELCOME HOPPERS! Are you thoroughly spooked and amazed? I know I am! You already know that today is the start of our Halloween celebration with a blog hop organized by my good friend Nicole of Canadian Nickel Scrap'n . If you're currently hopping, you should be arriving here from the Fabulous Eulanda's blog ... wasn't that Caramel Corn Box AWESOME?!? If you haven't arrived from Eulanda's blog and are just now joining us, hop to the bottom of this post for details on how the blog hop works. And now for my scary good fun before you head over to Gloria's blog on the next stop of this hop. Today I've got the "Welcome" sign that I will be hanging in my foyer this Halloween. I used my Simple Frame Gypsy cut file as well as the pumpkins and faces from the Pumpkin Carvings Seasonal Cricut Cartridge (just like the one I will be g...

Scandalously Evil Angels

These nail blogs.... I'll tell ya!!! Surfing through them can cause a serious need to RUN out and spend money! hahahaha! I saw this mani done by Evil Angel over at Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss and was inspired, but only after viewing Scandalous over at Scandalously Polished and her AWESOME halos (holos or holographic)! So what's a girl to do? I say COMBINE!!! So here's my "Splattered" mani! I used Konad image plate M9 and Konad's eggplant special nail polish on top of the most GORGEOUS halo I've ever seen. It reminds me of a fire opal! Don't you think? 1 coat Nail Aid Ultra Rapid Growth 2 coats China Glaze's TTYL Topped with Seche Vite Stamped Topped AGAIN with Seche Vite So AMAZING!!! I've been wanting to do this "Splattered" mani for a while and finally got inspired by Scandalously Evil Angels! ;)

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...
