Customized Miracle Treatments

Some time ago I was catapulted into caring for my own nails! I know that some of you can relate; with the extreme turn in the economy I just couldn't afford to pay to get my nails done professionally. But that also resulted in having to remove the fake nails that I had filled and refilled for the past nine years... YIKES. My nails were in a terrible state and I did quite a bit of research into "nail repair" products. I started with nail strengtheners. NOPE, that didn't work. Now instead of weak, tearing nails, I was left with super brittle nails that almost seemed to shatter with the slightest bump. I then turned to nail fortifiers that kind of worked but also seemed to peel off my nails in a hurry. Finally I found Nail-Aid! These products ROCK! The second product I tried (because I had to buy two bottles for free shipping) was the Pink Natural Growth Therapy. Now THIS product changed EVERYTHING about having to do my own nails. This product made me fall in love with doing my own nails; in fact, I ended up going back and buying more bottles. Every time I applied a coat of this growth therapy, my nails looked clean and strong and sparkley! The polish has a pink tint to it that brightens both the pink and the white of the natural nail. And grow they did! As I wrote in yesterday's post... NOTHING compares to this nail growth therapy in my opinion. I love, love, love these products. Why do I even consider trying anything else? Well, because like most women I am on a never ending search for something better. As of right now I can honestly say that I haven't found it. These products are miracle products. The next two products that I will be purchasing will be the Cuticle Cure to compare with Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme and Creative's Solar Oil, and Nail-Aid's Brush on wrap. I should just go ahead and pick up a couple of bottles of my Pink Natural Growth Therapy while I'm at it! [Wink]

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...

Burton-weenie Release Day 2

There's No Place Like Home

 Graphic 45's Magic of Oz arrived at Paper Vineyard last week and this week the design team had a BLAST playing with all the goodies!!!  I took a cue from my new blog friend Barb and used a scrapbook layout she completed as inspiration for my project.  The simplicity of using up those mini-scraps is just BEYOND brilliant.  She is the newest of the MANY talented blog friends I have, so don't be surprised if you see me saying her name A LOT!!!  Her talent is out of this world and TOTALLY up my alley [thanx for the card Barb, it is WONDERFUL]!!! So, of course, I used Copics for this project.  LOTS of E40's and R20's and finished up with YG20's... with a little Y18 and Y00 thrown in to make the cat tails and the shiny doorknob.  For some reason, my shadowing lightened A LOT on this pic, so I'm going to try and take another pic in better lighting and re-post.  Hopefully I can show this a little better.  For some reason, I've been sucking with m...
