For those of you who know me, you know that I got a new Copic Airbrush system about two weeks ago. I really HAVE been playing a lot with it, so just about every project I've been turning out over the past two weeks has included me "practicing" with this airbrush!!! This project that I submitted yesterday for the Burtonesque Dolls is no different. Since the challenge this week is a red and black color challenge with no theme or sponsor requirements, I decided to pull out my Cricut to create a stencil... and the Indie Art solutions cartridge worked out just nicely! I then went back through and line-drew the interior of the dragon with my Copic liner pen and finished this awesome dragon off with red Glitter Ritz for the eyes. Breathe Fire baby!!! I LOVE the Airbrush system... I can't imagine it without and ability for continuous use that I get from having the Windstorm air compressor. So, I guess an honorable mention goes out to my wonderful hubby for making this Fire Breather happen!!! The Magic Bullet has yet to fail me!!! I LOVE it! I whipped up this ultra healthy mousse in seconds, and the mint came straight from the garden. Yay! Here's how I made it. Danielle's Heavenly Mousse 1 small container of low fat vanilla yogurt (I prefer Yoplait Light) 2 heaping tablespoons of Knudson Free cottage cheese 1 tablespoon of Amaretto flavored Agave Nectar 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon 2-3 peeled and pitted organic figs (optional) In Magic Bullet container combine above ingredients. Attach flat whipping blade and mix until mousse has formed (about 45 seconds). That's it. If you are using figs (which will create a thicker mouse after it sets in the fridge and will require longer blending time), be sure that they are room temperature before blending. Blend with chopping blade, remove and attach flat whipping blade until smooth. Allow to set in fridge at least 30 minutes before serving. This thing is quick and incredibly yummy! Here is the pic of the ingredients I used. Cl...
