Alcoholics Anonymous Is Coming

So I've decided to start up a little Copic club to support all my fellow alcohol ink addicts!!!  I'm calling it Alcoholics Anonymous... perfect huh???  Welp, I have developed a 12-step program to support your habits, walking you through learning the basics all the way to perfecting your Copic techniques and creating WONDERFUL Copic projects. Preliminary sign up is open all through March, and our schedule will be set up based on interest... so be sure to call right away to sign up to let the healing begin!  hahahahahhahaha!  To sign up, call 480-656-2058.  All we need is your name, contact information and the day that works best for you.  Once we've compiled the list, we will schedule accordingly.  Also, during the March Copic Palooza at Paper Vineyard, a sign up sheet will also be available, so if you are planning on attending the Copic Palooza in March, you can just sign up then! :) 

Speaking of the March Copic Palooza.... check out March's super fun project (click on pic above to enlarge)!!!  For those who don't know, my Copic Palooza is a specialized Copic class that focuses on project completion utilizing MY FAVORITE (and rather personalized) technique that will save you time AND ink when completing each monthly project.  It is designed for the most novice to the most advanced Copic users as it's more project driven than technique driven... honestly, there really is only ONE technique used to complete the project pictured!  I SWEAR!!!  The cost is $35** and INCLUDES the featured stamp/stamps to take home and use on future projects!!!  It is a TON of fun and a VERY laid back class!  Everything to make this project is included, all you have to bring is a paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, glue dots and your Copic markers.  Suggested Copic markers for this project are:  BV23, E43, E50, E51, E57, R20, R22, R59 (or R89), R81, R85, RV32, RV34, YG01 and YG23.  Classes are scheduled for Saturday, March 12th at 1 p.m. and Sunday March 20th at 1 p.m., click HERE for more information.  PSSST... we are also going to be making that GORGEOUS flower embellishment... OOOOOO glittery!!!!

every time i see something you colored with copics..it gets better and better (although i am partial to the fairy you did)...this one is beautiful!

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. The First One!!!

Ok folks... it is here! This is my first-ever design project for The Burtonesque Dolls ! Wow! What a fun design project it was too! This week's challenge over at The Burtonesque Dolls is to create an original project following Cheri's AWESOME sketch (click on the link for deets)! Yah, this one was a fun one. I took this opportunity to play around with the different stitch options available on my sewing machine... boy, did I really open her up!!! hahahahahaha! You can't really see because of the stitching, but I found the perfect Tim Holtz paper with the words "Cat" and "Girl", spicing it all up with the key and lock and I couldn't help but devote this one to Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. I felt the "period" image ( Tickled Pink Stamps , 20's Evie) was the PERFECT image for this and I LOVED trying to age everything with the monochromatic Copic coloring. Yah, this one is definitely a favorite and it's only my first one! And ...
