You Can Thank Scandalous

Alright, this is a long story that I'll sum up right here: I'm giving away one of my bottles of Gun Metal Pink FLASH (also known as My Private Jet by OPI). That will leave me with only two bottles, so it's almost as important as giving one of you a kidney... if I had three kidneys.

Ok... so.... one day I posted a blog about my all-time favorite nail polish My Private Jet, after seeing someone else's post of the same polish that didn't look anything near the polish I have. The one I saw was a holo and mine WAS NOT. Mine was an AWESOME gun metal pink! So I posted a question as to why my My Private Jet looked so different. Well, I got some VERY helpful responses from some VERY helpful bloggers informing me that there are MANY versions of this particular polish and that no one had yet heard of MY version. I even got a request from Scandalous over at Scandalously Polished to let her know if I find another one, and I did find another three, so I sent one to her.

Now my pink gunmetal My Private Jet is so extraordinary that I can't help but smile everytime I look at it. I originally thought that the color had to be on my own nails to cause the incessant smiling, but I was wrong. Scandalous recently posted swatches of my all-time favorite polish and, again, I smile. Now while that smile also had something to do with the "thank you's" and the awesome blog post Scandalous did, I'd be lying if I said that was the ONLY reason. This polish just CAUSES that reaction. And WOW... does this polish just look fantastic on EVERYONE??? So I was reading through the comments that were left on Scandalous' wonderful post and realized that there are quite a few people in NEED of this color. Now I COULD sell it on Ebay and probably make a mint on this color, but I realized that it would definitely be much more fun to have everyone scratch and claw for it!!! So, I'M HAVING A GIVE AWAY!!!

For the next two weeks, I wanna see who REALLY wants this polish. Leave comments on this post and TELL YOUR FRIENDS about this give away (be sure to leave links to prove you told people even if they weren't your friends..hahahahaha)! And in two weeks I will pick one lucky winner. THIS IS NOT A RANDOM DRAWING. This AWESOMER THAN AWESOME nail polish will go to the person I think wants it the most.... you can all thank Scandalous!!!! You can also thank her for the new name Pink Gunmetal FLASH My Private Jet!!! Love it! So leave your comments and links and I will pick the winner on June 13. NIGHT, NIGHT!
**CORRECTION: I'm going to ask Scandalous if she would like to pick the winner... NOW You CAN Thank Scandalous!!! hahahaha!
*** This give away is only open to followers of this blog.

some reasons why I still want it:
come on, it's O.P.I
it's called my private yet. that's cool
but Pink Gunmetal FLASH My Private Jet is way cooler. So I can be cool with this polish, muhaha
maybe I can spam you, so you know I really want it (:

This giveaway ...well after making why I want the MPJ picture I realized that nail polish is an object and I questioned whether obtaining a much coveted polish can actually make me sign up to become an organ donor and save lives. This doesn't seem right. a polish = saving lives?

i've decided to go forward and apply to become an organ donor regardless of the outcome of this giveaway. i'll be getting tested next week. Thanks for having this giveaway. It really changed my perspective.

Hi, I found your little corner of webspace while browsing random nail polish related blogs - I've recently developed really bad dermatitis on my face and am no longer allowed to wear makeup (my old drug), so I've developed a SERIOUS obsession with nail polish to compensate! I can't stop lusting over swatches, they are like porn to me now D: Both versions of my private jet are on my wishlist, but I have been expressively forbidden from buying any more nail polish until August because I have spent too much money! The horror! So please, consider me - there is a hole in my collection calling out for this gorgeous polish!

Past 7 Days....

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...

New Year New Copic Class

Ok, so it's another year and we're looking forward to the year ahead, but if you're anything like me, you haven't even begun to sift through all of your 2010 stuff yet and it's time to start a new year. Welp, here's a little help... I created this tag to use as an embellishment for a 2010 Christmas scrapbook layout and now YOU can make one too as it is also the featured project at Paper Vineyard's Copic Palooza on January 23, 2011!!! Everthing you need to make this tag will be provided at the class, all you need to bring is a paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive and your Copic markers. This is a monochromatic class and the suggested copics to bring with you to class are ANY FOUR copics in the Cool, Neutral or Warm color families. I used C0, C2, C6, and C9. The best part is you get to take this ADORABLE Kraftin Kimmie Virginia stamp home with you for future creations (and maybe even a head start on your 2011 CHRISTMAS CARDS!!! hahahahahhahaha ! Now that's RE...

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. It's been a long time favorite and now I'm THRILLED to be able to give it away to one of my awesome readers! So here's how to win: Become one of my follower...
