Have A Blessed Holiday

So, tomorrow is my 13th wedding anniversary. WHY we decided to get married on Christmas Eve, I'll never know, but while part of me KICKS myself for the added stress of the gift giving and event preparations, there's another part of me that is so glad that my wedding anniversary falls on the night before I celebrate the birth of my Lord, Jesus Christ. But with that being said, I will probably be starting my nervous breakdown any second now, so I thought I'd share my Christmas wishes with you now. I know that I'm rarely very serious in my posts, but this upcoming holiday is a very serious holiday for me. So please be forewarned, this post is not meant to make anyone laugh....

It's been a while since I've posted a Bible study, so I thought tonight I would share a very special scripture with you... My wish is that every one in my blogland family are blessed this Christmas season.

Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

For those who read this that may not share in my spiritual beliefs, please take this in the spirit it was intended.... to bless you, as I only want to share a piece of myself with you. May the new year find you all happy and abundantly prosperous. May God bless you and yours.

I praise God for everything he has done and given this past year. I also praise God for everything he has done and given in the year to come... may it be exceedingly abundant. As for every year, I praise God for Jesus. Thank you.

Merry Christmas everyone... thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me and for allowing me to get to know you. You all are SO WONDERFUL!!!

Digi Fun

Ok... quick backstory here:  I was in a discussion with a few wonderful ladies the other day regarding my memories of childhood, one of which was my LOVE for the color purple because the object of my affection at the ripe old age of 5 years old was Donny Osmond (well, until he got married...hahahahahha).  So thanks ladies... this one is for you!  Copics used to color this one:  BV000, B41, C0, C1, C2, C4, E41, E42, R20, V01, V04, V09 and YG05.  I also went in at the end and added some glitter highlights using the purple Spica pen.... LOVE THAT!!!  Both stamps used for this one are digi stamps.  The gorgeous fairy princess is Tiddly Inks, Cast Your Spell  and the sentiment is from Create With TLC . *** Sorry about the lighting on this one folks!  I was trying to get a good angle on this so that the sparkle of the Spica pen showed in the pic.  Unfortunately, I lost some of the brightness on the page that I usually look for...
