In Honor Of Our Beloved Vets

Welp gang.... The Town Scrapper had PERFECT timing!!! I just received the coveted Coffee Kiki La Rue in the mail yesterday (along with some other AWESOME goodies) and as promised... I'm giving it away. You all know that I already own this gem and use it OFTEN! Can you think of ANY occasion where coffee doesn't work? hahahahhahaha! Anyway, in honor of this very special holiday and the service men in my own family, I get the pleasure of giving away this WONDERFUL stamp. Thanks Phebe and all the folks over at The Town Scrapper for donating this oh-so-great prize to give away on my blog. Thank you to our Veterans and all the men and women who are serving now.

Lucky number 1! I will throw a shout out to my husband who served 6 years in the Navy, my brother who served 6 years in the Army, my brothers in law who served in the Navy and one currently in the Air Force, and my grandfathers! The military is near and dear to my heart!!

Thank you to all our past and present Vets. My son is currantly serving over in Iraq and will be done with his tour the end of this month. His last date for missions is November 21 and then they start working on heading back to the states. He is expected to be back here at home around December 16th just in time for Christmas. I am so proud of him. It's been a long year worring about him. Thank you to all the men and woman who keep us all SAFE!

I would love to give a shout out to my nephew who is in the Air Force and my father who was in the Army for 25 years. Also, thank you to ALL the men and women who serve and give us our freedom!

Thank you for serving Grandpa... I honor you and everyone else I know who has served our great Country well. I think of you lots today... because your alzheimers is getting worse and you seem so confused. You have lived an honorable life and I am so glad I had you as an example! Thank you to all of the brave men and women! I also honor and think of the families who are home while their loved ones are serving right now! I love being an american!

I cannot believe I am the first comment. I love Veterans Day. My beloved Vet is my boyfriend who I have know since 1st grade. After 39years we have come full circle back to each other. He is a Viet Nam Vet. My father who spent time away from me when I was little to serve in the Navy.He is 85 years old and still alive. Thanks to all these men and women who gave us so much with their service. Thanks for the giveaway and I am a follower. What are the chances of random picking number one. The most important thing is this day and those who served. Thanks........

Food Saver Gold - Give Away!!

Sometimes I am just not a master of the obvious! Most of the time, pretty simple things elude me, but this time... Here is a VERY small sample of my stash (wow, that almost sounds illegal)! It was during one of my organizational rampages that I discovered this amazing and economical use after having to throw out bottles of polish that had gone unused for years. What a waste!!! And yes, I missed that particular use in the infomercial from way back when! :) NOW I know that when you hit sales on things like nail polish or shampoos, you can stock up and vacuum seal them and they stay just like brand new for when you're ready to use them. This is something that will free many polish lovers who fall in love with a specific color but cannot stock up for fear that the polish will dry up before they are through with the first bottle. Not anymore polish addicts and future polish addicts... here's your fix! I even did that with last years Halloween makeup! You know... the make up that you...
