Banana Split

Okie Doke!  This week at Paper Vineyard, we were challenged to create a project inspired by the Banana Split pictured above.  Couldn't you just jump through the screen right now and gobble that up???  What I love the most about this banana split is the color palette!!!  I never thought I would EVER say that about ANY banana split!!!   These colors are just so inspiring!!!  So I created:

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT!!!???!!!  Honestly, I wasn't planning on creating anything as my plate is sort of full for the month, but Bo Bunny arrived at the store and I just couldn't help myself.  I was ALLLLLLLL over it!  I bought ALL the papers from the Et Cetera line (plus the buttons and trinkets) and then MOST of the papers from the Double Dot Designs!!!  These lines are AMAZING!!!  There were also goodies from the new Christmas line, but I finally had to stop looking and walk away.  OMGosh, these lines ROCK!!!  So along with the color palette, the cherry on the banana split also caught my eye.  I remembered that I had purchased some cupcake stickers the last time that Els of Elizabeth Craft visited the store and taught some classes.  And, of course, with the right Glitter Ritz glitters, this project would EASILY come together to match the colors of that yummy, yummy dessert!!!  I ended up using a silver rhinestone brad to pull the whole thing together because I didn't have gold cupcake stickers (and they'll certainly have to wait now cuz I just bought a ton of Bo Bunny!!!), but I think it all looks quite nice together.  Whew... this was a GREAT one!!!  Click HERE to check out what the rest of Paper Vineyard's design team created.  It was definitely a fun challenge!!!

Eye Of The Tiger

I've done these tiger stripes before for some Halloween nails that I did last year, but in looking at the amazing Color Club neons that I love so much, I was overtaken by the idea of pink on pink... TURNED OUT FABULOUS!!! So the awesomely awesome base pink is Color Club's Pink Lust and the Konad stamp is from image plate M69 in Konad's pastel pink special polish. The butterflies were done with image plate M36 with Konad's black special polish and OF COURSE I used my trusty Seche Vite for the "quick dry". These nails are delicious!!! I just think it's amazing how Color Club just NAILED neons.... all of them.... perfect! PS. Please ignore my nasty cuticles... I didn't have time today for a full mani. Not that I don't need it! After a weekend of paper crafting a full mani with some TLC for those cuticles is NEEDED, but at least I got to a polish change. Maybe a wax treatment tomorrow?

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...
