Birthday Lasagna 2014


Well this year's birthday lasagna includes a gluten free version (made with rice noodles) and an ENTIRE lasagna that I can't have any portion of as it was made with wheat noodles.  The hubs usually makes a lasagna for the freezer with extra ingredients, but this year he decided to make a lasagna for himself... for my birthday.  I'm trying VERY hard not to be stingy.... NOT VERY EASY when you are talking about birthday lasagna!!!  And, come on!  It sure does look scrumptious... come to think of it, they BOTH do.  You really can't tell them apart.  A special thank you to my husband for slaving in the kitchen again this year.  And I'll try to look past the wheat abomination that you created for yourself.  We're coming up on LAST CALL to enter my Favorite Things Birthday Give Away!!!  Click HERE to enter.... Past 7 Days....

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...

Velcome To The Little Hop of HORRORS!!!

Day 3 Ultra Rapid Growth

Well, today is day three of my Nail Aid Ultra Rapid Growth test and I've gotta say... I see a difference! Do you? It looks and feels like I've gotten quite a bit of length in three days. I love how the product feels when I put it on as a base coat and my last Konadicure lasted every bit of the three days before it was time to remove and reapply... which is better than some nail products out there that AREN'T nail treatment products. There is one thing that I'm noticing when applying the Ultra Nail Growth as a topcoat (per package instructions), I'm noticing air bubbles. There are only a couple of them on very few nails, but they are there. It COULD be simply that I'm applying it too thickly. I've never used this product before and I might need to change up my normal application slightly. I will give that a try on my day 5 mani... I'll let you know. Honestly, I can already tell you that this product is getting some serious high fives from me with or wit...
