If Tim Holtz Was A Girl...

I'm convinced this little sweetheart is a good representation of the first blueprint image that would have graced his blueprint line if Mr. Holtz was born a girl.  Why?  Cuz Girls Rule!!!!  And a little girl drafted of sugar, spice and everything nice is just cute, fun and incredibly ADORABLE!!!

Obviously this image was inspired by the Tim Holtz blueprint stamp line, but actually features CC Designs' Cupcake Kiki that I stamped on black cardstock using my Stampin Up Craft pad and then altered using an opaque white gel pen.  Please ignore the shadow in the bottom right corner... I couldn't seem to get my big head out of the way....

I had a ton of fun making this one and am feeling pretty great about the crafty life force that has found its way back into my bloodstream.  I'm vowing NEVER to pack up my craft space EVER.... EVER again!!!  I definitely have a new-found appreciation for my perfectly placed chaos that is near impossible to replicate!!!  I'm off now to figure out a storage solution for my Spellbinders....any ideas?  Please chime in!!!

adorbs!
you know my fav storage solution for my SB. :) PSB's with the quarter pages. Also have some of the long border, wide border and a few of the pages with multiple smaller pockets. I get so many in a small space and totally portable. Miss you!

Ack! Adorable! I LOVE how you altered the image with the gel pen! Brilliant! Glad to see you making awesome stuff again!
I use magnetic knife holders from Ikea to store my dies. It works great if you have the wall space for them. I'm pretty visual, so out of sight, out of mind. I use the ones that are out, and then rotate them periodically to remind myself to use a new (or old) die.
Fantastic!!!! I love, love, love all your yummy layers of paper. The image is adorable and love the white stamped on black card stock. She really pops in white. And yes, you should be a Tim Girl. I think I have most of the blue prints. Other than the sewing one since I can't sew. Join me on the dark side;p. Thank you for swing by my blog and sharing your thoughts. You crack me up!

I don't use spell binders so I don't have any storage solutions for you. I suck:/

Past 7 Days....

YAY 2014

Yes, yes... I know I've been away for quite some time.  Had a HARD tail end of 2013 with multiple moves, multiple surgeries and just as many nervous breakdowns!  WHEW!  Am I glad THAT'S over! I joke about having nervous breakdowns, but then again sometimes my nerves got a bit frayed and threatened to break right there toward the end of the year.  So I'm here today to tell EVERYONE what got me through and share my most recent 'HIGH FIVE'!!! So Hay House, the book publisher of one of my favorite people in the world, Dr. Wayne Dyer is hosting a " New You Now " event that kicks off in less than a week.  My guess is that Hay House will feature a good number of their published authors to sort of kick off book sales for the new year while at the same time sharing some insight and direction toward you reaching your full potential in this new year..... BRILLIANT IDEA!!!  My favorite of all is that RIGHT NOW they are featuring another life-changing v...

I'm Terribly Late.... I Know.

Yes, Yes... I'm terribly late... I know!  I was supposed to announce on April 1st that I'm having ANOTHER Favorite Things Birthday Give Away.  Well, here I am.... 7 days late, I'm here with the announcement.  BUT FIRST:  Let's check out some of the prize goodies!!! So pictured above is nail treatments from my ALL-TIME-FAVORITE nail treatment company... Nail Aid .  I LOVE their products, I LOVE their company and I LOVE their service.  And this year they GENEROUSLY donated another HAUL of their new products available at Walmart (check your local store for availability as I'm finding that not all of them carry it... which is NUTS!).  They are just so generous... THAT'S FIVE PRODUCTS!!!  Now I've never tried these products... being that they are new, but I personally use MANY of their products and I love them.  So be sure to check out their website by clicking the link above.  And just so you know which ones are my favorites, I...

You already know that today is the start of our Halloween celebration with a blog hop organized by my good friend Nicole of Canadian Nickel Scrap'n . If you haven't arrived from Eulanda's blog and are just now joining us, hop to the bottom of this post for details on how the blog hop works. And now for my scary good fun before you head over to Gloria's blog on the next stop of this hop. Today I've got the "Welcome" sign that I will be hanging in my foyer this Halloween.
