Is It Halloween Yet?


Oh yes... How I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this time of year!  Weather is cooling down a bit, PSL's EVERYWHERE and a reason to start gifting!  So YOU KNOW I was all over Stampin Up!'s new Kraft Gift Boxes and lately spending time to find what will fit in them.  Of course I started with candy... I mean my 1st gift box IS Halloween-themed.  But then I started thinking outside of the box (pardon the pun) and realized this would be the PERFECT size box for a mini facial gift!  You can get a box of 5 sheet masks for under $10!!!  So down the rabbit hole I fell and here's what is in my Kraft Gift Box (#156569) featuring the, also brand new, Cutest Halloween Bundle (#156483) and the new Cute Halloween paper pack (#156479).  Check this out!  Isn't this the GREATEST gift?!?

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. RIP My Friend

I think this is what drowning feels like.  I lost a friend yesterday.  And I'm afraid that I am just having a very hard time finding the words to express what the world lost.  I'm having a hard time KNOWING she's gone.  I just can't believe that Trisha Giallella died yesterday. I've known Trish for a large chunk of my life; she was the sister of my sister's ex husband. But for all the years that I knew her, I never REALLY knew her until very recently.  Oh sure, over the years I would listen in awe at all her stories.... stories of making movies in Hollywood, the wild parties and dating Rick James.  To a young girl of 15, those stories seemed like something from TV itself and far removed from my own piddly little life.  The fact that she even shared her stories with me sent me into a stuper.  I always had stars in my eyes when I listened to Trish talk, she was so glamorous and very, very tough... very passionate and good at "living".  I...
