A New Adventure

Sometimes I'm a jumper.  Sometimes I get involved in things that I have no clue what I'm getting into.  This is NOT one of those times.  I just became a Young Living Essential Oils Independent Distributor (member #2065124 thank you very much).... with no hesitation, not an ounce of doubt or uncertainty!!!!  And the reason is that I believe THIS is a better way.

So I attended a Young Living Oils class, became a member that night and the following night, before my kit was even officially mailed to me, I signed on to sell these products and share the incredible opportunity for health with others.  It made sense to me... it helped that a friend gave me her weight loss trio (lemon, grapefruit and peppermint) to try so I was familiar with the product.  I was never on the fence and I haven't once second guessed my decision.

I was never on the fence because years ago I had a homeopathic doctor tell me that ALL MEDICINE started out as natural medicine and that our pharmaceutical industry is just humans trying to replicate what nature has done forever... unfortunately, not without side effects because NOTHING can do what nature can.  Hearing about the benefits of pure and natural essential oils, it made perfect sense to me that these oils being a concentrated extraction from plants, would absolutely heal.  And the weight loss trio does it for me.  I just feel an all-around well being while seeing real weight loss that I just haven't seen in a long time.

Now do I feel that doctors and the pharmaceutical industry serves a purpose?  ABSOLUTELY!!!  If I was ever in a horrific accident, in a hospital hooked up to drugs through an IV is the FIRST place I would want to be.  And I even see a regular doctor.  But I found one that WON'T write me a prescription every time I'm in her office.  She really listens to me and also believes in the importance of a strong immune system.  She honors by belief that natural remedies support my body healing itself while pharmaceuticals and pills from drug companies tear it down.  She has also agreed to work hand in hand with my homeopathic doctor so that I have TWO people working toward my well being.... well, THREE if I include myself.  And honestly, I think that is every bit as important!

I think that WE need to be responsible for our own health.  Instead of abusing ourselves and then expecting someone else to fix us, we need to step up and help ourselves to be healthy.  I truly believe PURE essential oils are a good step in the right direction.  And it is something I want to share with the world!!!

If you're interested in getting started with Young Living Essential Oils, they have a Premium Starter Kit that has a really good mix (10 to be exact) of "everyday" oils, a bunch of samples of oil blends a roller ball and a diffuser to get you started with your oils as soon as you open the box!  Click HERE to order.  DRIPPY DRIPPY!!!

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...

New Year New Copic Class

Ok, so it's another year and we're looking forward to the year ahead, but if you're anything like me, you haven't even begun to sift through all of your 2010 stuff yet and it's time to start a new year. Welp, here's a little help... I created this tag to use as an embellishment for a 2010 Christmas scrapbook layout and now YOU can make one too as it is also the featured project at Paper Vineyard's Copic Palooza on January 23, 2011!!! Everthing you need to make this tag will be provided at the class, all you need to bring is a paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive and your Copic markers. This is a monochromatic class and the suggested copics to bring with you to class are ANY FOUR copics in the Cool, Neutral or Warm color families. I used C0, C2, C6, and C9. The best part is you get to take this ADORABLE Kraftin Kimmie Virginia stamp home with you for future creations (and maybe even a head start on your 2011 CHRISTMAS CARDS!!! hahahahahhahaha ! Now that's RE...

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. It's been a long time favorite and now I'm THRILLED to be able to give it away to one of my awesome readers! So here's how to win: Become one of my follower...
