Do I Really Need Reminding... Apparently So!

OK gang! I have not run away or fallen off the earth, I've been taking a little break. I've been out in the forest getting in touch with my inner nature girl. And BOY have I been roughing it! I already broke a nail, and there is not a lick of cuticle cream in sight! All kidding aside, this particular trip out of the heat reminds me how important hydration really is! In the cooler climates we sometimes forget to drink our water. This is probably the single most important nail growth tip that I have learned over the past 8 months.... dehydration=broken nails. It's as simple as that!...

I have also noticed that my breathing has been shallow, and for how long, I don't know. I do know that it's been a while. But now I'm out in the forest, it's been raining the past couple of days, and the earthy smell is HEAVEN! I am really breathing it in.... and I'm noticing that I've been missing those deep breaths. The strong, invigorating breaths that only come from moments of calm and peace. I remembered today that I've been a little lax on taking that "down" time. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of the day to day we forget how important it is to stop and find your peace. Maybe some of us don't EVER do that. Yah, I'm remembering today how desperately my body, my health and my life need that. So, that is what I will be working on next week. I'm "purposing" some time for myself to relax, hydrate, find my peace and take a few deep breaths. I hate it when I forget to breath. The hardest part will be remembering to do it AWAY from this beautiful and natural surrounding.... I just don't see how aromatherapy could get any better than this... those wonderful cool pines of the forest!

What I Know... There's A REALLY Big Challenge!!!

Now I don't claim to know it all (pretty close though... JK!), but there are some things I just KNOW!!! 1. I know there are 365 days in a calendar year. 2. I know I'll never dance naked for a full moon. AND 3. Anything having to do with "crazy", "mental" or "manic" draws me like a moth to a flame. I credit #3 to my ex-husband and have decided that "crazy" is a pretty fun way to be. I won't make this a "preachy" post, but suffice it to say that in reality I am full of Love, Power and a Sound Mind. But because that is true, I take "crazy" to a really fun level and appreciate anyone else who does the same! We're all a bit crazy in one way or another and quite frankly, I think that is what separates US from the BORING!!! Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION!
