What A Week!!!

I just have soooo much to share... tons of things in the works. So first and foremost I have some exciting news from SmashFit.com. I will be posting that later today. Suffice it to say that I'm going to have to REALLY ramp up my fitness... there's a reason I haven't been posting fitness and nutrition posts. I've been loafing and getting fat... hahahahaha! Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration, but my awesome, special, fun news makes me feel like I really need to get in gear and focus. Maybe you all can help me, and we can get in gear together! Stay tuned for that....

So on top of that GREATNESS, I get to also announce that I am part of my first design team!!! I've sort of been a Gypsy freak ever since I won mine from the wonderful gals over at Cutting Above, and it's nice to be able to team up with other freaks... hahahahaha! I'm kidding of course. Actually, I'm going to be designing with some AWESOME talent. Our fearless leader is Pam over at TheBugBytes.com and our design team is called The Gyptians (sorry for the Bangles song that might be running through your head right now... it's running through mine also. If it's not running through your head, then you're a lucky young whipper snapper! That song will not leave my brain!!! LOL)! It's a pretty fitting name, and this really is perfect since the team will be putting together design files to give away for free. I've had all my design files posted on my blog for free since I got my gypsy, so this is all really just an extension of what I already do... I LOVE IT! I'm so excited! Pam is so knowledgeable and super fun... this is going to be so FABULOUS!!!

And last, but certainly not least, there are talks with me helping out the good folks over at Cri-Kits.com. Nothing's been finalized yet, but I bought almost all of their pens and after they saw my project post from the other day (you can see it by clicking HERE) asked if they could use my work on their site. I would love to work with them since I just love those gel pens. It took me no time at all to master those pens and I'm already working on MULTIPLE projects to post for you guys in the upcoming weeks. I'm hoping they let me REALLY get my hands dirty over at Cri-Kits.com!!! hahahahaha! I let you all know when the tidal wave hits!

Well, that's all I've got for right now. I'm working on a submission to The Greeting Farm... I'm hoping to win some smack. Click on the link... there's an awesome digi up for grabs!

You all have an awesome Friday and don't forget about my blog give-away. Click HERE to find out how to enter and the HUGE prize haul up for grabs!!! They're my favorites!!! :)

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle

The Old Clunker

A few years back I received a Creative Zen Micro Photo for Christmas. It was wonderful! The fact that I could finally carry around all my music in a super small (or I thought at the time)2.25" x 3.5" music player was sheer freedom from carrying around that old, large, portable cd player and I won't even go into the tons of music cds that also had to go along for the ride. Ok... so I'll mention them briefly, hahahahaha! And I was also surprised by how much lighter this music player was. At 5.5 oz., wearing it fashionably on an armstrap to the gym put me in the leagues with the top fitness buffs. Then something shifted... I was no longer hip, or in, or cool anymore. Suddenly everything shrunk and my music player was now a gigantic dinosaur! What the heck?!? Now everyone was sporting music players that were as big as the face of a watch and were a million times lighter than mine. All of a sudden I was back in the 7th grade trying to convince my mom to buy me the latest

The BEST Copic Storage

**** HUGE HALLOWEEN GIVE AWAY... CLICK HERE !!!!**** Ok, so I've done posts in the past about various Copic storage solutions, but I was given THE MOTHER of all storage ideas by my friends Jennie Black and Krista Koenig!!!   Let me share with you the construction of the storage box and then I'll finish this off with the BRILLIANT solution my husband came up with.... cuz I married a GENIUS!!! What you'll need to create the AWESOME storage box pictured here is: 1 Double Deep Art Bin 1 plastic grid for ceiling lighting (found at your local home improvement store) 1 half inch thick wooden square dowel (also found at your local home improvement store) Dimensional adhesive squares Wire cutters or sheers Screws with corresponding drill bit Drill So I first cut the ceiling grid down to 19 squares by 19 squares using my wire cutters.   You will need two 19 x 19 sections of grid material.   The wire cutters went through the plastic material of the grid like butter and I
