Fall High Five

Ok, THIS is AWESOME!!!
I am absolutely gaga and over the moon for this Great Pumpkin cake!!!  So BECAUSE of this awesome cake (that by the way, gets a MILLION high fives from me), I decided to host a Pampered Chef show ONLINE!!!  I NEED that fluted cake pan...don't you???  So no matter where you live in the United States, you can join the party... your stuff will ship to you.   Here's all you need to do:
  • Simply go to http://pamperedchef.biz/alisonheikkila
  • Click on "Shop"
  • Choose "Pick a host"
  • Type "Danielle" in the first host name box
  • And "Johnson" in the second
  • Then shop till your heart's content!!!

How easy is THAT?!?  What a perfect way to celebrate the fall season.  Personally, I think this cake would look fabulous on EVERYONE'S table, and I'm working on a GLUTEN FREE Pumpkin Spice cake recipe JUST for this awesome pan and just in time for my Halloween festivities.

I'm sorry, did I say one million high fives.... I meant TWO MILLION!!!  I cannot wait to get my hands on this pan.  And if you're as excited as I am, be sure to act quick.... my party closes on October 9th!  I just love Fall!!!

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle

The Inventor Of the TV Dinner Should Be Slapped!

Close observation of my eating shows that I can scarf my tuna casserole at an alarming rate. I sit in front of the TV to eat my dinner and 5 minutes later I am pushing the plate away with little to no memory of ever have eaten. That is interesting to me because, you see, I LOVE FOOD! I also LOVE being thin. These facts SHOULD come to life by the knowledge that if I took smaller bites and chewed thoroughly , not only would I get to enjoy my food that much longer, but I would also be burning more calories (yes, the activity of chewing burns calories!!!!)! And on top of THAT amazing knowledge, my body would also be able to process the food I eat much better therefore more of the food I consume would be utilized to help build my lean mean body. So what the heck is up???? Why DON'T I slow down my eating knowing all these amazing benefits? What's causing this little glitch? Those are the very questions I asked myself at the start of this year. I knew the answer before I ever wrote th

You already know that today is the start of our Halloween celebration with a blog hop organized by my good friend Nicole of Canadian Nickel Scrap'n . If you haven't arrived from Eulanda's blog and are just now joining us, hop to the bottom of this post for details on how the blog hop works. And now for my scary good fun before you head over to Gloria's blog on the next stop of this hop. Today I've got the "Welcome" sign that I will be hanging in my foyer this Halloween. I used my Simple Frame Gypsy cut file as well as the pumpkins and faces from the Pumpkin Carvings Seasonal Cricut Cartridge (just like the one I will be g
