BEYOND The Burtonesque Dolls

**Click HERE for Halloween Give Away**

INTRODUCING.....
The new design team:  Beyond The Burtonesque Dolls!!!  Our first challenge for the "NEW" dolls was to create a project inspired by our favorite Halloween film, book or memory.  Mine is The Addams Family.  I grew up watching The Addams Family in the afternoons after school.  This show surely kick-started my interest in all things macabre and Halloweeny!!!

So my card is quite simple as I didn't want anything to detract from that AWESOME Moxxie paper from the Midnight Dreary line.  The stamped image is The Greeting Farm's Wednesday and the sentiment is from Tickled Pink Stamps' Halloween Sentiments.  To finish this one off, I added some Cuttlebug bats and sewing machine stitches.  This one is creepy, kooky and cute just like The Addams Family.

So what's YOUR inspiration?  Head over to Beyond The Burtonesque Dolls and check out what the rest of the design team turned out and to get the deets to participate in our first challenge.... and welcome to BEYOND The Burtonesque Dolls!

Past 7 Days....

Seriously Crazy!

Oh man! Look at the fridge in my garage. And that's only about half of it!!! The rest of my Bountiful Basket is in the fridge in my kitchen. Crazy! I'm here to tell you about my very first experience with Bountiful Baskets . I was told that Bountiful Baskets was a great way to save money on quality produce, so I thought I'd give it a try and see; and you can tell by the pic, that was today! Well, my fridge is PACKED! And every bit of it is organic. Look at how nice all of that produce looks. It's beautiful. After signing up on the website (click link above), I started reading that you can volunteer at the pick up site and help distribute; for your work, you can get extra produce. That was a nice bonus, but today I volunteered with the nicest people and to be honest I had so much fun, I would have done that for free. Needless to say (but I will say it anyway) I will be doing this again in 2 weeks. So here's the lowdown. For $25 dollars, I got what you see in the pic ...

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...

Owl Punch Extravaganza VII... Halloween In July

The Stampin Up Owl Punch is INCREDIBLE isn't it!  From owls to reindeer to men and now bats... this punch does it all!!!! Along with the owl punch I also used Stampin Up's (now retired) Little Leaves die, Spellbinder's circle die, We R Memory Keepers Tangled Tree stamps and a greeting from Crafty Secrets Halloween Postcard set.  How stinkin cute!!!!  This card was inspired by Tammie over at Tammie Stamps.   She did a terrific job making this cutie really come to life!  To receive this and the other 19 owl punch cards I'm posting on my blog each day, all you have to do is place an order.  Simply go to StampinUp.com and click on "store" at the top.  Place the items you'd like to order in the shopping cart and input the hostess code where provided to get full credit for your purchase.  The hostess code is UCUFWPDU. THE BEST PART:  You won't have to wait to receive your order.   Your order will ship to you within two business days...
