National Card Making Day!

WOWOWOW... so this week I've got a twofer.  Mainly because I thought YESTERDAY was 10/3/20... you know.... NATIONAL CARD MAKING DAY!!!!  Welp, I added a little bonus for the REAL project I completed on this holy day and it is definitely a special card, so stay tuned to the end.

Remember... everyone who places an order in my online story by 10/9/20 at midnight will receive ALL of the featured project kits FREE with a minimum $35.00 order.  Be sure you use the hostess code AQZYXVET in order to receive the projects kits.  :)

Okay, with that out of the way, I devote yesterday PRE- National Card Making Day to getting a jump start on my Christmas cards.  How many do you guys send every year?

Up first is probably the easiest of all the projects.  Be sure to cut out that intricate Ornate Layer die using the folded dryer sheet to make it oh-so-easy!  Remember, I have a link to the PDF with measurements and product lists below the last pic in this post....

Another easy one and the paper makes it pop.... well that and the incredible tree image... LOVE!

Finally... that Brushed Metallic really gives this simple card the punch of elegance.  Just a sprinkling of champagne rhinestones really does the trick here!

And the bonus.... My mask card.  I actually found this on Pinterest and modified it just a little to make it work better for me.

I hope you all had a wonderful National Card Making Day!  Tune in next week!

MY VERY FIRST CRICUT CARTRIDGE GIVE AWAY!

Ok ... so the time has come. I've got some BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED, STILL IN THE PLASTIC Cricut Cartridges to give away over the next couple of months and it starts with one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES...... Hannah Montana! YAY! I LOVE this cartridge! It's got the most beautiful guitar images along with musical notes and FIVE fonts! I used the regular font and the rock star font to create my Father's Day card this year (see above). I also used the Hannah Montana cart (see below) to create a beautiful butterfly (FREE Gypsy cut file HERE ), and am currently working on a project using the gorgeous solitaire diamond. There's a rose and lips and decorative hearts, even a Pegasus ! There's just so much on this cartridge.... I use it a lot! To call this a "font" cartridge is terribly misleading. It's been a long time favorite and now I'm THRILLED to be able to give it away to one of my awesome readers! So here's how to win: Become one of my follower

Back In The Saddle

Well, here I am! Back after a hard couple of weeks, but I'm thrilled to have such an AWESOME crafty diversion (I REALLY needed it too)! So Make It Colourful is running a pretty cool challenge this week to create a monochromatic/vintage/photo project, click HERE to check out the details for the challenge and to see what the rest of the design team turned out (the projects are AMAZING!!!). My project has that dreamy, Victorian feel to it featuring The Greeting Farm's Freaky Flutter digi as well as Make It Crafty's Open Window digi . For those who do not know, Make It Crafty's blog has THE BEST tutorials! To see how to layer two digis (like the two I'm featuring here), check out Make It Crafty's How To Use Your Make it Crafty Digital Stamps in MS Word video tutorial. For this project I also mixed the neutral, warm and cool grey Copic Markers... I've never done THAT before! I thought it ended up being a pretty neat effect. Everywhere I envisioned there would

Spicy Chicken Pad Tai

I am a lover of Pad Tai noodles. Anyone looking to replace egg or wheat noddles, THIS is the alternative. Pad Tai noodles are rice noodles and even easier to prepare than the egg or wheat noodles and don't contain gluten, so they are so good and good for you. I am also a lover of the spicy. Anyone looking to open up those sinus cavities, again, this is your one stop shop! Here is the meat version of my Farmer's Market Delight! :) Enjoy!!!! Spicy Chicken Pad Tai One large handful of Pad Tai Noodles (I buy the fresh noodles from my local asian market. If using boxed noodles, prepare per the box directions). One large handful of fresh noodles will fill a steam pot/skillet. 3 tablespoons of water 1 tablespoon Nama Shoyu 1/2 teaspoon garlic-chili sauce *** 4 green onions diced (including the greens) 1 red bell pepper chopped 1 small zucchini chopped 2 stalks of celery chopped on the diagonal 1 large, fully cooked, left over chicken breast chopped In a hot skillet or wok, add water,
