Worth The Wait

So I recently became a member of Young Living Essential Oils.  I became a member just before one of the biggest growth spurts this company has ever known and RIGHT as holiday sales are ramping up.  Needless to say, I had to WAIT for my Starter Kit and I was NOT happy.  But then the kit came and I tried the oils.  Can I just say.... SOOOOOOOO worth the wait.  This isn't my FIRST bout of impatience:

Once upon a time in a land of tumbleweeds and super hot summers, a beautiful, charismatic and really quite skinny girl made her first trip to a well-known coffee shop. She met a friend there who was full of excitement and seemed to have a knowing glint in her eye. After 20 minutes our super hot, skinny, well-spoken, charismatic girl got a little irritated with the wait. "Why am I standing in a 20 minute line for a cup of coffee? Why would ANYONE wait for this? Don't these people have lives?" To which her friend turned to her and said, "THIS coffee is like none other. This is the very best coffee in all the land. Would you believe that every one of these people DO have lives and including this coffee makes it complete? It is not just coffee, it is a lifestyle. People come together because of this coffee, they form incredible friendships and even conduct meetings here. There are some who, like you, don't get it. Maybe it's because they've never tried the coffee, maybe they've tried it and haven't seen the light. But for those who tried it and get it, they now have a place to 'belong' and enjoy the very best. They have something to look forward to every day and have found something that makes them happy. They could try and manufacture this happiness on their own at home.... but NO ONE makes coffee the way this coffee company does and for all of us WAITING.... it is SOOOOO worth the wait. The drop dead gorgeous, funny, well-spoken, super-model thin, charismatic girl smiled and decided to wait in anticipation of the very best that she now believed was on it's way.
This is a mostly true story. Why WOULD everyone wait? Aren't we curious.... anticipating.... what everyone is waiting for? If everyone is waiting... could there be something to it? There was a time not so long ago that I didn't get it... I get it now. I REALLY, REALLY get it!!! And I've just replaced my morning coffee with Ningxia Red.

I am now a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils (#2065124).  I am such a believer that I decided that I needed to share it with the world.  If anyone reading this is curious about how essential oils can enhance THEIR lives.... please send me an email.  I would LOVE to speak to you:  fittertwitdoesoils@gmail.com   *** Young Living Essential Oils is expanding because of the growth... luckily the wait is no longer very long!!!

How to Upload Gypsy Cut Files To Your Gypsy

Well... Today was the big day for the Provo Craft Gypsy! Provo Craft FINALLY provided the Cricut Design Studio compatibility and now we also have the added benefit of sharing Gypsy cut files... but it was at a price. I will get to that in a later post. In honor of this occasion though, I will be adding my Gypsy cut files to my blog for everyone to use. You will find my cut files in the top right corner of my blog marked *NEW (at the top of the side bar). The instructions on how to download at the bottom of this post. I hope you all enjoy them... they've been a long time coming. The featured pic here is the "welded Snow" file. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS For those of you who already own the Gypsy, here are the instructions. There is no conversion needed because these files are only .gypsy files. To save them: 1.) Connect your gypsy to your computer, turn it on and open Gypsy Sync on your computer. 2.) Once the Gypsy Sync Program has searched for an updat...

Seriously Crazy!

Oh man! Look at the fridge in my garage. And that's only about half of it!!! The rest of my Bountiful Basket is in the fridge in my kitchen. Crazy! I'm here to tell you about my very first experience with Bountiful Baskets . I was told that Bountiful Baskets was a great way to save money on quality produce, so I thought I'd give it a try and see; and you can tell by the pic, that was today! Well, my fridge is PACKED! And every bit of it is organic. Look at how nice all of that produce looks. It's beautiful. After signing up on the website (click link above), I started reading that you can volunteer at the pick up site and help distribute; for your work, you can get extra produce. That was a nice bonus, but today I volunteered with the nicest people and to be honest I had so much fun, I would have done that for free. Needless to say (but I will say it anyway) I will be doing this again in 2 weeks. So here's the lowdown. For $25 dollars, I got what you see in the pic ...

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...
