Halloween Music

I spent this past weekend listening to Halloween music while decorating my house. Every year the Halloween festivities in my house starts in September and runs well past October 31st, so I need quite a bit of music to make it through this holiday season. I thought I would share with you my Halloween playlists (yes, I have more than one.... you're probably guessing right now that I'm a FREAK for Halloween) to get you through the holiday as well.

HALLOWEEN PARTY
  • Anything from the Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • Monster Mash of course
  • Ghost Busters
  • The entire Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack
  • That Old Black Magic
  • Witchcraft.... CLASSIC

CANDY GIVING - aside from the GREAT creepy sound clip cd's (creeking doors, witches laughing, etc.) there are some really great instrumental Halloween cd's that'll conjure memories and make all the ghoulies smile.

  • Charlie Brown Theme
  • Twilight Zone Theme
  • Jaws Theme (this one makes me laugh... hard!)
  • Psycho soundtrack
  • Friday the 13th soundtrack
  • Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack
  • The Omen Soundtrack
  • The Exorcist - Theme from Tubular Bells

THE PRIVATE COLLECTION - these are just my favorite artists.... honestly, I listen to some of them year round. but they make Halloween feel like Halloween. Their music is incredible!

  • Sarah Brightman - her voice is beautiful, amazing and often eerie.
  • Nox Arcana - music with haunting sound effects. Beautiful and scary at the same time.... my Halloween staple! It's not Halloween without Nox Arcana!
  • Mediaeval Baebes - voices combined with percussion mainly... different and wonderful!
  • Haggard - German band with the most amazing music! This one is a MUST LISTEN! Scary, beautiful and something you've never heard before! It's like metal and classical, thrash and symphony... even that description isn't right!
  • Midnight Syndicate - I am listening to the Vampyre album right this second (and The 13th Hour is set to play next... LOL). They are my all time Halloween favorite! :)

This is pretty much what you'll find me listening to until Christmas! hahahahaha!

The BEST Copic Storage

**** HUGE HALLOWEEN GIVE AWAY... CLICK HERE !!!!**** Ok, so I've done posts in the past about various Copic storage solutions, but I was given THE MOTHER of all storage ideas by my friends Jennie Black and Krista Koenig!!!   Let me share with you the construction of the storage box and then I'll finish this off with the BRILLIANT solution my husband came up with.... cuz I married a GENIUS!!! What you'll need to create the AWESOME storage box pictured here is: 1 Double Deep Art Bin 1 plastic grid for ceiling lighting (found at your local home improvement store) 1 half inch thick wooden square dowel (also found at your local home improvement store) Dimensional adhesive squares Wire cutters or sheers Screws with corresponding drill bit Drill So I first cut the ceiling grid down to 19 squares by 19 squares using my wire cutters.   You will need two 19 x 19 sections of grid material.   The wire cutters went through the plastic material of the grid like butter and I

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle

Velcome To The Little Hop of HORRORS!!!

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So I tried to make the title sound really spooky and ran out of room to include my evil laugh... hahaha! WELCOME HOPPERS! Are you thoroughly spooked and amazed? I know I am! You already know that today is the start of our Halloween celebration with a blog hop organized by my good friend Nicole of Canadian Nickel Scrap'n . If you're currently hopping, you should be arriving here from the Fabulous Eulanda's blog ... wasn't that Caramel Corn Box AWESOME?!? If you haven't arrived from Eulanda's blog and are just now joining us, hop to the bottom of this post for details on how the blog hop works. And now for my scary good fun before you head over to Gloria's blog on the next stop of this hop. Today I've got the "Welcome" sign that I will be hanging in my foyer this Halloween. I used my Simple Frame Gypsy cut file as well as the pumpkins and faces from the Pumpkin Carvings Seasonal Cricut Cartridge (just like the one I will be g
