Here's a little something special.... I FINALLY got my hands on some fauxnad image plates, and I gotta say... they are almost identical to Konad. In some cases, the images are identical. There are a couple of things that I really love about these plates. The first is that some of the image plates contain mirror images which is VERY helpful when you are wanting to have the nail art placement on both hands look alike. The second is that these plates contain 9 images per plate instead of 7 and cost me around $2/plate (with shipping). The DRAWBACKS: they were VERY hard to find (I found them on ebay), I could not choose the plates that I wanted (they came in a package of 18), the edges of the plates are SUPER sharp (like 'cut you' sharp) and shipping took over 2 weeks to arrive. The image turned out nice (once I peeled the plastic off), but until I discover how to get my hands on the plates individually... I will definitely be sticking to Konad. This one I used came from GCOCL plate #E02. The polish I used was OPI's Got A Date To-Knight with a Seche Vite topcoat... of course! For the image I used a deep pink nail art paint, and then added a little rhinestone for show. Cute, Cute, Cute!

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle

The Inventor Of the TV Dinner Should Be Slapped!

Close observation of my eating shows that I can scarf my tuna casserole at an alarming rate. I sit in front of the TV to eat my dinner and 5 minutes later I am pushing the plate away with little to no memory of ever have eaten. That is interesting to me because, you see, I LOVE FOOD! I also LOVE being thin. These facts SHOULD come to life by the knowledge that if I took smaller bites and chewed thoroughly , not only would I get to enjoy my food that much longer, but I would also be burning more calories (yes, the activity of chewing burns calories!!!!)! And on top of THAT amazing knowledge, my body would also be able to process the food I eat much better therefore more of the food I consume would be utilized to help build my lean mean body. So what the heck is up???? Why DON'T I slow down my eating knowing all these amazing benefits? What's causing this little glitch? Those are the very questions I asked myself at the start of this year. I knew the answer before I ever wrote th
