Pumpkin seeds!!! I have a wonderful recipe (from Raw Food, Real World) for Candied Pumpkin Seeds, and I am all over it! Using my dehydrator, I will be mixing maple syrup powder, ginger and pumpkin seeds that have been soaked for 4+ hours. They will dehydrate at 115 degrees for 12 to 24 hours. I just found out that this little recipe creates a "super snack"! The perfect ratio of protein to carbs and can be added to just about anything. But the real reason for my sudden excitement is all the health benefits from eating this amazing snack.
