2021 Holiday Mini Kick Off

Okay... Stampin Up! just released the August-December 2021 Mini Catalog, lovingly dubbed "the Holiday Mini" by yours truly! SUCH great things in this mini catalog!  But my FAVORITE is the Sale-a-bration Catalog because, well, it's all free with purchase!  HAHAHAHA!  Among my faves.... something you will NEVER guess because even I was surprised.....

Um.... the Penguin Playmates DSP!!!  i did say FREE with $50 purchase RIGHT???!!!  Now, I'm SHOCKED!  This paper is cute (quite adorable frankly), which isn't my style.  It is VERY Christmas-themed (I'm not opposed to Christmas but I tend to gravitate more toward Halloween and richer colors), but this is PINK Christmas!!!!  WHY am I obsessed with this paper?  Well.... HERE'S why!

To be fair, this project is actually TWO of the free paper packs (I also scored the Peaceful Prints).  We're going to be featuring and making this super-uber-cute treat box, along with 5 other Holiday Penguin projects in my upcoming Christmas-to-go class and I'm over the moon excited!

Along with this incredible paper pack that I can't put down, there are other GOLDEN GEMS from the Holiday Mini Catalog that I will be featuring in the coming weeks (AHEM..... HALLOWEEN), but one particularly fabulous goodie is the Pretty Pillowbox Die set.  Now it took me a couple of tries to master.... but I have it.  I mean, I can whip these babies up in no time flat.  SOOOOOO.... I recorded a quick tutorial along with some of my tips:

Check out my online store to see more of the Holiday Mini AND the Sale-a-bration items on sale now and check back here soon for more holiday fun as we're kicking things off for 2021!!!  YAYAYAYAY

Gorgous Leaves Bundle Revisited

Yestday's Freebie Friday on a Monday projects were so fun and this set is SO BEAUTIFUL in it's simplicity!  It reminds me of a long-retired stamp set from Stampin Up!.  I was inspired to re-create the projects that I made with it once upon a time.  So here we go.... SIMPLE projects when you need a quick "hello" or an even quicker heartfelt sympathy card: I was DEFINITELY on a Bumblebee and Cajun Craze kick yesterday!  I can't stop/won't stop!  LOL!  To be fair... I had extra leaves die cut and didn't want anything to go to waste!  A quick speckle backdrop in Bumblebee then a quick "hello" greeting from the Biggest Wish in Cajun Craze with the Cajun Craze leaf popped up on a Basic White cardbase.  PERFECTION! Okay, as with yesterday's projects, the sentiment is from the recently retired SAB Delicate Dahlia's set, but you could use ANY sympathy sentiment you have in your stash.  Unlike in the past when I had to mask off the center rectangle...
