A Grown Adult Who Plays With Shrinky Dinks

Yep!  That's me!  I play with Shrinky Dinks!!!  But here's why....

***So be sure to click on the pics to check out the AWESOME details that show even after shrinking!!!**
Imagine taking a thin sheet of plastic that you die cut with, oh let's say one of the Stampin Up Chalk Talk dies, after stamping this plastic with, uh let's say the Stampin Up Yippee Skippy and From My Heart Stamp sets, and then (using a heat tool) shrinking it down to make the CUTEST charm to add to a project or gift!  I did and THESE are the results.  Each finished charm is pictured inside the die I used to cut the shape out with to give a good perspective on how much the Shrinky Dinks really shrink.

These I inked with Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay before shrinking!  These turned out GREAT!  The charms pictured here are going to be wine glass jewelry!  SO FUNNY RIGHT?!?  Click HERE to check out the video tutorial I used to learn how to use shrink dinks.  Honestly, it took me a couple of tries.  But have fun with this one... the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!

Now you may not be able to see it in the pic above, but I altered The Greeting Farm's Ebony so that her tee shirt reads, "Say YES to Mammograms!" So, today I wanted to share HOW I added the words to her tee. First I printed the words as small as I could and still be able to read the message using my laser printer onto the paper that I would be using to color in my im...
